Requirements

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
• Speech Pathology Australia Membership
• Working with Children Check
• Eligibility for registration with Medicare
• Awareness of child safety standards and adherence to Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics

Responsibilities

• Implement high quality evidence-based assessment and treatment across a broad clinical scope including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Language Disorder, speech sound disorders, literacy, fluency.
• Maintain up to date clinical documentation including reports, treatment notes, letters to GPs and other professionals.
• Collaborate regularly with professionals in the wider team including GP’s, paediatricians, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and educators.
• Provide tier 1, 2 and 3 speech pathology intervention in an education setting. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work within Seedling Speech Pathology’s policies and procedures.
• Engage in face to face and telehealth service delivery models.
