About the Role
The Neighborhood Clinic (TNC) is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) for our Chandler, Mesa, and Tucson, Arizona locations to join our growing behavioral health team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a counselor who is passionate about providing meaningful, patient-centered mental health care while being part of a collaborative and expanding healthcare organization. As an LPC with TNC, you will have the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse patient population, help patients navigate a wide range of emotional and behavioral health needs, and work alongside medical and behavioral health professionals to provide truly whole-person care.

Responsibilities
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with The Neighborhood Clinic, you will:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based individual, family, and/or group counseling services to a diverse patient population.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, challenges, and treatment goals.
- Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans and therapeutic interventions as clinically appropriate.
- Utilize appropriate evidence-based therapeutic approaches based on each patient's individual needs.
- Establish a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where patients feel heard and respected.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional, regulatory, payer, and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support integrated behavioral and physical healthcare.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
- Identify patients who may benefit from additional behavioral health, psychiatric, medical, or community-based services and coordinate appropriate referrals.
- Connect patients and families with community resources and support services when appropriate.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all applicable ethical, HIPAA, state, and federal requirements.
- Contribute to the continued development and growth of behavioral health services at The Neighborhood Clinic.

Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated behavioral health professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively as part of a growing healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience providing direct clinical counseling or behavioral health services in an outpatient, primary care, community health, or similar clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and other clinically appropriate modalities.
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs, strengths, and goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- The ability to establish positive therapeutic relationships and provide compassionate care to patients from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a patient caseload while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
- Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
- A strong understanding of patient confidentiality, HIPAA requirements, professional ethics, and applicable state and federal behavioral health regulations.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with primary care and other healthcare professionals to support an integrated, whole-person approach to patient care.
- A commitment to continued professional development, clinical excellence, and contributing to the continued growth of behavioral health services at The Neighborhood Clinic.
