Contract Therapist — LAC or LMSW
Flexible Schedule | Clinical Supervision Provided | Established Patient Population
Alevea Mental Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our outpatient behavioral health team as a contracted therapist.
Alevea serves approximately 9,500 active patients, with a large population of young adults and college students seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem, and other general mental health needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an associate-level therapist who wants schedule flexibility, access to an established patient population, and the supervision needed to work toward independent licensure.

Position Responsibilities
Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy
Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
Coordinate care with Alevea’s psychiatric providers when appropriate
Participate in clinical supervision and consultation
Practice within Arizona licensing, ethical, and professional requirements
Ideal Candidate
Holds an active Arizona LAC or LMSW license in good standing
Enjoys working with young adults and college students
Is comfortable treating general outpatient mental health concerns
Communicates professionally and works well within a collaborative team
Is organized, dependable, and able to manage an independent schedule
Values evidence-based, LGBTQIA+ supportive, inclusive and affirming, compassionate, patient-centered care
Is motivated to grow clinically while working toward independent licensure
About Alevea Mental Health
Alevea Mental Health is an established Arizona outpatient mental health practice providing psychiatric care, therapy, ADHD testing, and interventional mental health services. Our integrated model allows therapists to collaborate with psychiatric providers while helping patients receive more coordinated care.

Requirements
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited program
Active Arizona Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential in good standing
Eligible to provide behavioral health services under clinical supervision in Arizona
Experience or demonstrated interest in treating young adults and college students
Ability to assess and treat common outpatient concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD-related difficulties, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions
Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches
Ability to complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to manage an independent schedule and maintain reliable attendance
Comfortable collaborating with psychiatric providers and other members of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and comply with HIPAA, ethical standards, and Arizona licensing requirements
Reliable computer, secure internet connection, and private HIPAA-compliant workspace for telehealth sessions
Preferred Qualifications
Previous outpatient behavioral health or counseling experience
Experience or desire to work with college students or young adults
Familiarity with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma, and adjustment-related concerns
Training in CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based approaches
Experience providing telehealth psychotherapy
Experience with Simple Practice EMR
