Job Title: Ophthalmologist (PT/FT)

Summary Description:

Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons, a respected and well-established ophthalmology practice in the Hudson Valley region (1 hour North of NYC), is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care with a strong emphasis on patient experience, clinical excellence, and advanced technology. Potential for partnership/real estate ownership/ASC ownership/high cataract volume.

We welcome applicants with subspecialty training, including glaucoma, retina, cornea, uveitis, or neuroophthalmology. 

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular conditions
Provide medical and surgical ophthalmic care (including subspecialty care, if applicable)
Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care
Collaborate effectively with optometrists, technicians, and support staff
Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and long term eye health

Qualifications:

MD or DO with completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
Board certified in Ophthalmology
Active New York State medical license
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality patient care
