Play Connections is seeking a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our small but growing team. In this role, you will provide evaluations, individualized treatment, and play-based interventions that empower children to thrive.
We specialize in
- Sensory integration: helping children regulate, attend, and participate with confidence.
- Early intervention: supporting developmental foundations in the most critical years.
- Feeding therapy: guiding families through sensory-based and oral-motor feeding challenges.
Our mission is to provide child-centered, evidence-informed, and family-collaborative care across clinic, home, and school environments.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy services.
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and screenings for children ages 0–12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs).
- Provide direct therapy in clinic, school, and home settings with a focus on:
- Sensory processing and self-regulation.
- Fine and gross motor development.
- Feeding and oral-motor skills.
- Daily living and social participation.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and teachers to support carryover of strategies.
- Educate and empower families with practical therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric OT, including sensory and feeding approaches.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (required).
- Current California OT license (required).
- Pediatric experience; feeding therapy or early intervention experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sensory integration principles.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and adaptability.
- Passion for play-based, family-centered therapy.
