Description

Family Services Coordinator:

Provide crisis counseling and emotional support to child victims and their non-offending

caregivers. Serve as the primary advocate for families throughout the Children's Advocacy Center

process.

Provide outreach and ongoing case management throughout the life of each case.

Coordinate referrals and collaborate with victim service providers and community

agencies.

Assist families in preparing Victim Impact Statements.

Educate caregivers regarding trauma, child abuse, available resources, and the

investigative process.

Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case reviews.

Maintain accurate case records and documentation.

Support families in accessing community resources that promote healing and stability.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Trauma Therapist

Provide individual, family, and caregiver therapy for children impacted by abuse and

trauma.

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Utilize evidence-based trauma treatment modalities, including:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Play Therapy

Develop and implement safety plans with children and caregivers.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.

Complete timely clinical documentation that meets state, federal, licensing, and agency

standards.

Prepare professional written reports and communicate effectively with partner agencies

and the courts.

Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and other community stakeholders.

Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.

Testify in court when necessary.

Work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team

environment.

Assist with additional agency responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy,

or another related mental health field.

Current Montana licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an LCSW or other qualified

licensed mental health professional.

Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

Knowledge of child development, trauma, abuse dynamics, and trauma-informed care.

Strong crisis intervention and clinical assessment skills.

Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Successful completion of required background checks.

36 hours a week. This position also encompasses participation in agency events throughout the year that may be outside of business hours (Annual Gala, prevention activities, etc.) The benefits package includes health insurance, retirement with up to a 4% employer match, a cell phone stipend, and clinical supervision toward licensure.
