Requirements
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
Speech Pathology Australia Membership
Working with Children Check
Eligibility for registration with Medicare
Awareness of child safety standards and adherence to Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics
Responsibilities
Implement high quality evidence-based assessment and treatment across a broad clinical scope including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Language Disorder, speech sound disorders, literacy, fluency.
Maintain up to date clinical documentation including reports, treatment notes, letters to GPs and other professionals.
Collaborate regularly with professionals in the wider team including GP’s, paediatricians, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and educators.
Provide tier 1, 2 and 3 speech pathology intervention in an education setting. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work within Seedling Speech Pathology’s policies and procedures.
Engage in face to face and telehealth service delivery models.
