Family Psychiatry Practice & Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Psychiatric PA-C, or PMHNP) to join our established, collaborative psychiatric clinic. We are a locally owned, clinician-led practice serving children, adolescents, and adults, and we are intentional about creating a workplace where providers feel supported, respected, and able to do their best clinical work!

Role Overview:
The PA-C or PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing care for patients across the lifespan (population can be tailored based on experience and interest). Providers have autonomy over patient panel and are encouraged to pursue fields of interest to tailor their care to the provider's experience and expertise.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits
- Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintaining timely, high-quality documentation
- Participating in team discussions and care coordination as needed

- Is a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Eligibility for or current DEA registration and state controlled substance prescriptive authority
- Experience providing psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management (experience level flexible depending on training and supervision needs)
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Strong computer literacy, including comfort with clinical software, secure messaging platforms, and routine technology-based workflows
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered, evidence-based care
