About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh/APP) licensed in California to join our innovative remote healthcare team. In this work-from-home position, you will operate at the top of your license by conducting asynchronous patient evaluations. You will review comprehensive patient-submitted health questionnaires and utilize your advanced prescribing authority to recommend and prescribe targeted Over-The-Counter (OTC) therapies.
This is an immediate opening for a dedicated professional who is passionate about expanding patient access to care, optimizing self-care therapeutics, and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes through an efficient, asynchronous clinical workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Asynchronous Clinical Evaluations: Review and assess detailed, patient-submitted health questionnaires to determine clinical needs, evaluate symptoms, and gather accurate medical histories.
- Prescriptive Authority: Independently initiate, adjust, and write prescriptions for appropriate OTC products and therapies based on your asynchronous assessments, strictly adhering to California APh/APP regulations and established collaborative practice agreements.
- Digital Patient Education: Provide clear, comprehensive written counseling and instructions to patients via secure messaging regarding the safe use of prescribed OTC medications, potential side effects, drug interactions, and lifestyle modifications.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation of all patient assessments, messaging, and care plans within the digital Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Triage & Care Coordination: Identify red flags within patient questionnaires and appropriately refer patients to other healthcare providers, urgent care, or specialists when their medical needs exceed the scope of asynchronous OTC management.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $85.00 to $95.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Sign-On Bonus: A $5,000 start-up bonus will be awarded upon the successful completion of your first 90 days of employment.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license AND an Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh/APP) license in the state of California.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience in medication management, patient assessment, and executing clinical care plans. Experience with telehealth or asynchronous care models is highly preferred.
- Clinical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of OTC medications, dietary supplements, and evidence-based self-care therapeutics.
- Tech-Savvy: Highly comfortable navigating digital telehealth platforms, secure messaging systems, and EHRs.
- Remote Setup: Must have a secure, private home office environment with reliable, high-speed internet to ensure HIPAA-compliant review of patient data.
- Skills: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy, clarity, and professionalism through text-based patient interactions.
