Description
Summary:
The Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership for the assigned clinic and assists with overall operational excellence. This role ensures high-quality client care by supervising the clinic assistant and clinicians, monitoring staff productivity, reviewing clinical documentation for timeliness and accuracy, and maintaining compliance with.
Education Requirement:
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Human Services, or related field (required)
Experience Requirement:
3 years of Management experience
Licensure/Certification Requirement:
Current Tennessee licensure in a mental health discipline (required)
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff
Monitor staff caseloads, productivity, and service delivery standards
Review and approve clinical documentation (including monthly quality audits) to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
Assign cases and oversee treatment planning, staffing, and follow-up
Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensure, grant, and agency policies
Research and address client complaints/concerns with effective resolutions
Support professional development and provide coaching/training to staff
Address performance issues and ensure accountability for outcomes
Provide clinical backup as needed and assist with complex cases
Collaborate with administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations
Monitor and approve clinical staff leave requests
Effectively manage and provide direct care to a reduced caseload size to be determined by clinic volume
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory and program administration experience in behavioral health
Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to balance staff, client, and organizational needs effectively
